A moment of thanks to all those who have supported me this year and made my 2025 such a memorable one. There has been a lot going on, physically and mentally as I turned 40, it's very much appreciated. I do wish at times I'd been stronger. That's on the list for 2026.

When they come to put the #2025Season of my life into the history books 📚 there'll be a lot to say. Seeing #GunsNRoses live again was a big one #GnFnR Travelling to #Paris #NewYork #Birmingham #London #Manchester #Edinburgh and #York to name but several - an eventful year for my 40th to be sure.

I tried out the #GrumblePie today at @mcdonaldsjp.bsky.social #McDonaldsUK - and I did like it, but I was more impressed with the presentation. Spot on.

I also must say I'm sorta glad he met the end he did @caderainier.bsky.social - no sooner has he met Claire than he's called her "darlin" and "babe" in a matter of seconds. During a Zombie Apocalypse. Whilst he slowly puts the chain on the door - a bit weird he left it off in the first place...

Before I start on the remake of #ResidentEvil3, which is set up and ready to go, I've decided to put some time into another run through the original #FinalFantasyVII - naturally, to me that's a perfect game I know back to front so an enjoyable way to unwind in the evening after work etc.

Yesterday, I finished #ResidentEvil3, probably for the first time ever. Not the remake, mind, the original. And it was very interesting experience and overall reaffirmed for me that its a classic entry in the series. Sure, not the game RE2 is, but its close!

I'm beginning to see, finally, that not everyone (in fact, probably not anyone) sees the world as I see it. That makes the world, for me, a lonely and scary place sometimes. It's hard to deal with. But I think that realisation helps me understand something about myself that I didn't know before.

In the original #ResidentEvil2 I never knew that Ben had a surname #BenBertolucci And I also still never actually found out what the S in Leon's middle name stands for

I've been looking into the actors who did the English voice work for the original #ResidentEvil2 in 1998 Gary Krawford voiced #BrianIrons. He unfortunately passed away in 2000 Rod Wilson voiced #BenBertolucci, and he continues working today in various pieces

I've been playing the ARRANGE mode on the original #ResidentEvil2, and I absolutely love it. Mowing enemies down with a gattling gun and imagination has me thinking of all the frustrated moments faced in this game in years past now resolved in seconds! Recommended!

When I wake up on a day off, I find myself less mentally drained than if I'm due to head into work. Due to not needing to leave the house by a certain time, get to work by a specific moment, I feel more 'drained' whilst on another person's clock. Does that make sense? It's all physiological.

I was playing the original #ResidentEvil3 last night on #PS4. This is the emulated PS4/5 version. And it was giving me genuine scares. The music, the atmosphere, the restrictive camera, and controls in line with a game released in 1999. @capcomart.bsky.social take another bow - aged like a fine 🍷

It's ironic that when you book some time off work to relax before the #Christmas madness kicks in, you get some really terrible weather. But such is life.

Rewatched #TheHeretic again today with #HughGrant It's a fantastic performance from Grant, and I love the concept of the film and find a lot of it very clever. But that said, the ending didn't do it for me, and I felt it was a little bit of a letdown. Still, I would recommend you watch it.
