Jabiru storks from a recent trip to central Brazil. It's a big bird with impressive wingspan, stretching up to 2.8 m. Looking ungainly on the ground, we saw it was a powerful and even graceful flier. The name, Jabiru, comes from the TupiโGuaranรญ language and means "swollen neck." Good name for it! ๐ชถ
