I’m enjoying playing FFVII again even more than my usual replays. Might have something to do with playing it on mind altering substances this time. The whole game looks so different through this lens, it’s like playing it for the first time again.

Printing with PLA is easy, you kind of just let it go and it comes out fine. Printing with PETG is like having to take care of a baby, if you take your eyes off it for even one second, there will be spaghetti everywhere when you look back.

For like, 29 years straight, time for my annual replay of FFVII already. I think for this one, I want to keep a little journal of things I love in FFVII and JRPGs in general. Like here, I love when a game has a specific area dedicated to breaking kayfabe to explain the mechanics.

Got my journal for the year

Oh my god, we bought a new couch and as I was setting it up, I realised that it’s far bigger than we thought. My friend who’s 2m tall could lie stretched out on this couch and not touch the arm rests.

Been waiting until I could afford another 1TB micro sd card for my Steam Deck and they've more than doubled in price since I bought my first one. Impeding my ability to just buy some storage is not endearing me to AI I gotta say.

We got Aerith a catnip toy while we were away. She likes it.

I had to do the majority of the work for a 20 minute period cause my boss’ wife called up to complain that she couldn’t park her car at the supermarket as if he could do something about it. It takes less than five minutes to walk to that supermarket from her house.

Been working non-stop for the last week. I’m on my eighth day and I have fourth more after this.

It’s nearly 6pm, I got scratched by a dog, i got yelled at by customers and I’ve been run off my feet all day. But now I’m watching a 22 year old and a 30 year old lose an argument with a 15 year old that’s been going on for 25 minutes so at least I can laugh.

Trying to pick a game of the year is hard when you've played like, 2 games from this year. Silksong? I haven't even played the first Hollow Knight. Expedition 33? Not got around to it. DK Bananza? Can't afford a Switch 2. Silent Hill f? Haven't been able to afford it. Same with most games.
