The University of New Mexico currently has university-wide access to Consensus. Consensus is an AI search engine for academic research. It searches over 200 million academic papers and uses language models to help find, understand, and synthesize peer-reviewed literature.

In November 2025, Wanda Yohn donated her late husband’s collection of materials relating to his stay at Carrie Tingley Hospital in 1949. The collection contains an El Paso Times clipping about Kenneth Yohn's treatment for polio at Carrie Tingley Hospital, as well as photographs.

This past summer, the Medical Mission Sisters North America Unit in Philadelphia reached out to Special Collections about transferring their Dr. Marion Hotopp papers to us. Dr. Marion Hotopp was a physician in northern New Mexico known for her work in maternal and children's health care.
