Today, one of my 7th Graders was on autopilot. As I clarified something, the student said, “OK, yeah, love you.” There was an awkward silence. After a moment I carried on with my wrap up to the class, then pointing at that kids added, “…love you too.” 1/2

7th Grade Art this afternoon. Girl 1: Girl 2 has been rizzing me up today. Girl 2 nods: I have. Me: That’s what I’m all about. Both girls look at me, a combination of surprise and disbelief on their faces. Girl 1: D’you even know what rizz is!?

My 6th Graders have been bugging me to play Christmas songs, which I refused to do until December. Today I explained Whamageddon to them and they all agreed they could TOTALLY avoid "Last Christmas" until Christmas Eve. I then played "Last Christmas." They're mad at me now. BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HAR!

All I’m saying is, give all the Tylenol/Autism data to a few folks on the spectrum and let them crunch the shit outta those numbers. It’ll reveal all this as garbage TWO ways.
