All things considered, if it's sensibly priced (i.e. not $70) and getting a physical release, I'll probably pick up Star Fox somewhere down the line. I still play the 3DS remake regularly, so I'm not really itching to get it immediately Can't get over how fucked up Fox and Falco look though, lol

Enjoying SMTIV but the amount of fixed encounters that start with a pre-emptive enemy attack that may or may not be a total party wipe depending on RNG feels pretty bullshit, not gonna lie.

Got past Minotaur in SMT4, played a little further, and... wow. Eating my words from this morning. Absolute cinema. Did the marketing for the game hide this in any way? Like, I figured it was going to be a part of the game *somehow*, but it really does feel like the Midgar moment in FFVII

Mentioned to a work buddy I talk gaming with sometimes that I'd been playing a bunch of 3DS stuff recently and mentioned how 3DS has awful sound quality even with headphones. He recommended I plug a double sided 3.5mm into the 3DS and some speakers and holy hell, how have I never thought of this?!?

Played my 3DS (Soul Hackers) literally all day today. I think the last time I did that was... 2023, I think? Whatever year it was that I played through Dragon Quest VIII on it.

For the record, the #5 near Spidey's crossed out head is likely referencing Amazing Spider-Man #5: Spidey and Doom's first meeting. The 361 scribbled in the lower left is likely also referencing Amazing Spider-Man #361 ...the first appearance of Carnage. Guessing he's a lock for Doom's squad.

Thanks to the magic of Steam Deck, I beat Lucci Mane on my lunch break, and with that, Nocturne is down in the books. Godlike game. Taught me to approach games with a lot more patience than I usually do. I want to try SMTIV next, but haven't had luck finding a copy. Might search a bit after work.

No luck so far, though I did end up getting SMT3 HD on Switch for like $12!

Also recently found out I've owned an SMT game for years and never realized. Bought a Saturn with a region change mod 10+ years ago and it came with a bunch of JP games, and this was one of them. So of course, it's the one major SMT spinoff with no English release or (completed) fan translation lol

Did some quick used game shopping at a local mom n pop place after work. How'd I do? (Yes, I know not to start Apocalypse until after playing through IV, I just figured I'd grab it now since I didn't know how long it'd be there. Still currently trying to track down a copy of IV atm)
