FF6 Advance was always my favorite version of the game in spite of the music and palette downgrades, but having fan patches that largely fix both issues makes it pretty much perfect for me now. Might look into modding a GBA SP to take to work with me, lmao

Finished my first Persona game yesterday. I really wish it hadn't taken me so long to give this series another shake after initially bouncing off P4 years ago, but I'm glad I did. 100+ hour RPGs aren't usually my thing, much less getting Platinums for them, but here we are. Gotta finish P4G next!

I sometimes joke that Yakuza games for me are retro Sega compilations that just so happen to have big ass (usually pretty good) games attached to them, but given the direction the series seems to be going, that might literally be the only aspect of them I care about moving forward.

Sometimes I'll see a "Sega should acquire M2 and put them in charge of their retro stuff" take and like... why? Consolidation's already fucking this industry up and M2 does so much good in the space outside of their Sega work. Why would you want the net loss of chaining them to a single publisher?
