Been trying a few Game Pass games recently. The latest of which is Motorslice. The movement feels really weird & I have no idea what’s going on, but it’s got an interesting visual style. #XboxShare

Rather enjoyed Mortal Kombat II. Learned the lessons from the previous film & lightened the tone, focusing almost entirely on great fight scenes & entertainment. Funnier than I was expecting too.

Had to wait a few weeks for it to be patched, but I’ve finally finished Ground Zero! Excellent game, especially for those of us who love the original Resident Evil games with their fixed camera angles & tank controls (though modern controls are available).

So…Jurassic World: Rebirth has so many problems, inconsistencies & the worst kind of fan service, but it’s not terrible. I wouldn’t watch it again, but I also don’t feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Easily the worst of the whole series, though.

Not gonna lie, waking up in the middle of the night with someone leaning over me (I must’ve been dreaming & it was just a remnant of that) nearly made my heart beat its way out of my chest.

Played the opening hour of Replaced on Game Pass. It looks gorgeous but I must admit that the gameplay feels quite dull so far.

Smashing through my replay of Resident Evil: Village. Unfortunately though, I’m about to enter the worst part of the game. No, House Beneviento is *not* scary, nor is it fun to play & it just doesn’t fit the rest of the gameplay.

I wanted to like Project Motor Racing but man, the AI can’t help but ram you off the road every race & if it’s not the AI ruining your race it’s the broken penalty system. Thankfully, Xbox’s free play days saved me from ever wasting money on it.

Finished my Switch 2 replay of RE7 (though I’ll go through the story DLC as well), decided Village should get another go too. It’s still one of my least favourite games in the series, but it’s fun enough. #ResidentEvil #REBHfun  #PS5Share

I rarely used my old Switch in handheld but the Switch 2’s screen is so good, it’s primarily used in handheld despite only playing it at home. I’ve even picked up RE Revelations & Signalis in the eShop sale, to replay in handheld.

My memory of the third Blair Witch movie was incorrect. I remembered it being mostly alright, but it’s really not. At least it’s still better than the abysmal 2nd movie.

I’ve been making my way through Dusk & man, what a fun game. I didn’t expect a Doom/Quake-like FPS to have so much atmosphere. Andrew Hulshult’s soundtrack is incredible, too.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of my favourite series: Resident Evil! So many memories, old & new. Here’s to many more yet to come… #REBHfun

Finished my replay of Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch 2. That finale is still just as incredible the second time around.

That’s playthrough 2 of #ResidentEvilRequiem finished. Damn, that’s one fine videogame.

Not gonna lie, I’m enjoying even major publishers’ socials talking the piss out of Nvidia’s awful AI shit in DLSS 5.

Good lord, Resident Evil: Requiem is a stunning game. Loved every minute of it. Genuinely got me with the fan service & I don’t even care. So glad I went in as blind as possible too, which is almost impossible these days.

Finally starting a new Resident Evil! Maybe 2026 won’t be so bad, after all…
