We're sipping cocktails in the casino on day 184 of #TheDiegeticShuffle with John Williams' "Canto Bight" samba from The Last Jedi. It features steel drums, in a nod to the original cantina, and quotes from "Aquarela do Brazil" by Ary Barroso (as heard in Gilliam's "Brazil").

Presenting the same data in a pie chart, which makes it clear that over half of all diegetic cues in Star Wars (that I know of) come from just six sources.

We have a truly lost John Williams cue from "Return of the Jedi" on day 179 of #TheDiegeticShuffle. The master tape of "Max Rebo Source (Palace Source)", aka "Galactic Dance Blast", was lost when it was sent out to be used in "From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga."

We're heading back to where it all started, Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley, for day 177 of #TheDiegeticShuffle. Max Sandler composed "Bar Source", a more unobtrusive tune than the Modal Nodes' jizz hits, for Din Djarin's visit to the cantina in season 2 of The Mandalorian.

With the new season of Visions premiering in a few days, it's fitting that day 176 of #TheDiegeticShuffle brings us "Alien Busker" from the season 2 episode "The Bandits of Golak", in which a four-armed busker playing in a market welcomes the hunted travelers to Golak.

It's the big one today: "Cantina Band", aka "Jolly Jazzers", "Monkey Band", "Mad About Me", and cue R5P3-3A, arguably the most recognizable piece of diegetic music in film history, written by John Williams as a Benny Goodman-style swing tune for the cantina scene in "Star Wars".

You would be forgiven for thinking there was no source music in Rogue One, but two cues, "The Jedha Sirocco" and "The Jedha Khamseen", are buried in the audio mix of this scene. (A "sirocco" and a "khamseen" are both desert winds.) There are three more elsewhere in the film, too!
