scored a neat sewing gig and just finished drafting up this cute bag for them! gonna have 2 of this style bag in the end and I had to show off the stitching and pattern shape before the final product!

just reminding myself for tomorrows onslaught of skinning that I'm on "Stubby 10" with smoothing needing to be 1.000 x20 per feather, and I also have to (once every feather is done separately) skin the upper wing limb micro-feathers to follow the outer and inner feathers to prevent clipping...

when you spend several hours skinning cuz your old plugin broke so your using a un-optimized for skinning alternative system, and this is the results... at least there's some progress! hopeful my buddy can write me a new skinning plugin soon so I can work faster (WP doesn't work well for me)

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Spending hours gaming is better for your mental health than hours of doom scrolling through social media. Games give you critical thinking, strategy, stories, goals and actual dopamine, as opposed to anxiety.

welp, I'm tired and my brain in soup. Who was supposed to tell me, that editing a pre-existing 3DS theme to make text more legible and have prettier colors, and change the MUSIC! was going to be a *squints at monitor clock* 6 and 1/2 hour long ordeal across 3 separate programs?!

WELP! I did what I set out to do, which was get out of my comfort zone by showing off my old (no longer up to my standards for 2D) art and my WIPs! I'm gonna hop offline for proooobably the rest of the night, and distract myself with food and gaming so I don't regret my decision to post! toodles!

Leo Cantus! Now THIS guy? he was a Zetta pain in my A** to figure out! I used pixel art from my DS and the spritesheets from the secret boss of Pathera Cantus to figure his Noise Limbs out! (his knees took 3 months, no joke!) glad I finished this before the anime dropped so I saw I did it right!

after FAFO-ing around in the node editor for the Mass rotational system I did for the talons and the wings, I decided to combine set driven keys and textures to get her ornate glowing markings to toggle of and off with a convenient slider! (node editor image in reply post)

recorded this RIIIGHT before my Weight Painting/Skinning Plugin for Maya completely gave up the ghost! I'm now trying to learn python to rebuild it from the ground up, however the "for loops" are throwing me "for a loop" (pun intended, if I don't laugh I'll cry at this point)

This is Lambelle! I made her after the game @cultofthelamb.bsky.social came out, I had so much fun sculpting every detail! I wanted to rig/animate her, but between Zbrush not letting me place wool cards by hand, & my Maya skinning tool breaking? this is as far as I got. (will show WIP's if wanted)

one of my saved clips from my BATDR livestreams! I somehow ended up being super funny without intending too! This became one of my favorite clips because it showcases the OBS lighting that projects the game lights onto Sil's model realistically! it's the little things that count after all!

Now presenting, Sil! she's my fursona and Vtuber/internet sona! I've been working on her for a very long time including making an animatable Maya rig for her and working on a V2 or her Vtuber model that will hopefully have fur simulations if I can pull it off!

my latest com work! after making my own Vmodel. a friend of my buddy reached out to me for a Vmodel of his own! and while humans (especially anime-esque ones) are definitely NOT my forte? I'm really glad that he was not only patient with me while making this, but also very happy with the results!

Cheese! this delightful little creature is the OC of @mooohaus.bsky.social and I modeled him as an Art Trade! because Moohaus was kind enough to help me finalize Sil's design and provided her official reference sheet in his amazing art-style!

RoBat, oh dear lordy where do I begin? this was my 1st assignment for hard surface modeling and I ended up "Box Modeling" him in Maya. He ended up being a whopping 482 3D parts and 2191 UV maps, manually made! This was before I knew how UDIM's worked! cool design but never again!

Muffet! she ended up being the final project I made when I graduated for my 3D Modeling Classes! nowadays she's kinda cringe by my current standards so I may V2 her eventually and possibly give her a fun rig to play around with too!
