It's still only mid December, but my New Year's resolution is to start drinking water. It's so hard, since as a kid my mum's ex was obsessed with making my brother and I drink 8 glasses of water a day. Dude was crazy. We had to drink like, 2 or 3 glasses in one sitting when we got home from school

I find it interesting that despite it being born from physical constraints and cost, 40-45 mins is perfect album length for most artists, in my opinion. Obviously there’s plenty of outliers, but for the most part 40-45 mins is perfect for a pop/rock album

I think the equivalent with a place name in America being said by an Australian is “Arkansas”. I’d pronounce it as “Ah-kan-saw”. Saying the last bit as “saw” because that’s just how the word is said, and dropping the “r” unintentionally because that’s how my accent works.

I think a lot of discourse, at least within English, around accents and pronunciation is most people don’t really understand the phonology of their own, and other accents, at least not intellectually. Like, I can tell when someone is doing a bad Aussie accent, but can’t explain why very clearly.

I don’t watch gaming videos at all, so my YouTube wrapped just randomly decided on these games. I haven’t even heard of the WWE ones, or Sekiro. I love this

The thing that stresses me out the most about taking commissions is that I can’t be fair to everyone. Too expensive, posting slots at bad times of day, a prompt/OC/mood not leaving a lot of room for something dynamic or interesting
