Thin Section Thursday! This serpentinite from the Ivrea-Verbano zone, is serpentine with cross-cutting veins of an opaque, probably magnetite. In crossed polars, the serpentine is first-order gray and is folded into wavey patterns in some regions. Contributed by Matt Kohn.
