🎮 2026 Game #70: One Night, Hot Springs Super cute little visual novel. Does a great job highlighting a sensitive topic within Japanese society and I definitely left knowing more about the subject than before. The dialogue can be a bit stiff, but it's a good read for its length. 7/10 #IndieGames

🎮 2026 Game #64: Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell Not quite as good as the previous two, but a fun play regardless, with great art, music, and improved minigames too. Also the fact that it branches into different routes is super cool for what is effectively a kid's game. 6/10

🎮 2026 Game #56: A Few Quick Matches Cool Smash bros-like with stick figures. Basically, the exact game we've all imagined as kids. Not a whole lot of content, but fun gameplay and solid execution. It does live up to its title, the perfect game to play a few matches of at parties. 6/10

🎮 2026 Game #55: Individualism In The Dead Internet Age: An Anti Big Tech Asset Flip Super cool museum-like game about the early days of software and the Internet and how that's changed. A little rough around the edges, but definitely made me nostalgic and I am glad a game like this exists. 7/10

🎮 2026 Game #54: Windjammers 2 Never played the original, but oh my god this is incredible. Great art style, music, super tight gameplay and controls, fun stages. I can definitely see myself returning to this one for parties and quick matches with friends. 8.5/10

🎮 2026 Game #53: Lovish Cute little 8-bit, room-by-room indie game. Short levels, but connected by fun random events, plenty of upgrades to unlock, and some genuine charm to it all. Also like the art and music! I do wish the quality of each room was more consistent though. 7/10 #IndieGames

🎮 2026 Game #49: Scott Pilgrim EX Pretty fun beat 'em up. Loved the art, the combat, the game world, and especially the music. Has some technical issues and a few annoying design choices, but it doesn't overstay its welcome and I had a great time playing through it in local co-op. 7/10

🎮 2026 Game #48: Styx: Blades of Greed A decent stealth game marred by many technical issues and general jank. The combat may be borderline unplayable and the story is not great, but the actual stealth mechanics are plentiful and fun to play around with. The level design is not bad either. 6/10

🎮 2026 Game #47: Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake Great remake of the PS2 classic. Looks good, runs well, and the QOL improvements are much appreciated. Still clunky to control and the gameplay can be overly slow, but I had a great time with it and hope they do the third game next. 7/10
