(Lily White) This was the result of about a month of nonstop studying, during which my friend, @angrycubicle.bsky.social , very graciously helped me with all sorts of practice. 41 combined hours over a month, and it's my favorite piece by far! I hope it's a huge step up. #東方Project

(Hecatia) Drawn for Christmas season, this was my most ambitious piece I can think of and it took 13 hours, way more than usual! I definitely enjoyed this one and it was a good exercise of some skills. Merry Crima! #東方Project

Imperishable Night Always wanted to draw a more dynamic pose and an actual action scene so this is my attempt over 8.5 hours. Studied construction and a little bit of gesture too. I'm happy enough with the result, and I hope to do more with it! #東方Projectᅠ #永夜抄

(Slime Yuyuko) Wouldn't normally post this since it was mainly meant to practice shine, shading, and texture, but it feels like some good progress at least. 4.5 hours and it was a good learning experience!

(Alice at the beach) 4.5 hours to complete this one, my first real drawing in a while (also probably my most sensitive) and I'm pretty happy with it. This was the result of me studying and trying out new skin tone, shading and anatomy.

(Alice is clumsy when you're around) Took 8 hours over a couple weeks to complete, and I'm pretty happy with it. I tried new things with colors and objects here and it was very difficult, but I'm glad I tried my hand at it! Alice is cute and I'm glad I drew her. #東方Project

(Kirisame Marisa) Drawn for a friend - Took 4.5 hours to make my first drawing of Marisa since I was brand new to art! This might be another of my favorite drawings, and I'm very glad I had the chance to draw such an excellent character! #東方Project

('Scared of the dark?') EX Rumia in the backrooms, a random idea that came to me - Took 7 hours and a lot of experimentation with lighting. It was challenging but I feel very satisfied with this as a product of 8 months of learning! #東方Project

(Kutaka) This was my longest piece by far, taking 8 hours over three weeks. I imagine Kutaka being very warm and fluffy and I tried very hard (to some success) to portray it. Definitely was challenging.

(A nervous but hungry Kagerou) 7 hours, and done in just two days! I really put a lot of new things into this- the hairstyle, perspective, the ears and tail, and very basic painting. Despite some troubles, this is probably my favorite drawing I've ever made! #東方Project

(Alice Margatroid) Drew this as part of a group art canvas with friends. Interestingly, the inspiration for this piece came from a dream I had. I felt really rusty at the start and was worried it wouldn't capture the vision I had. Now I'm very proud of it! #東方Project

(小さい小傘） Smol Kogasa! Took 6.5 hours of drawing, 120 layers, and one very busy month to draw. Not my best work, but Kogasa is great so I felt I had to complete it. Messed around with some styles along the way. Glad to be back behind the tablet! #東方Project

(Rumia and Daiyousei tango) My art piece for Valentine's Day! Based on one adorable part from a Touhou fangame I enjoy, Yoiyami Dancer by rokugou (on Twitter). It took me six hours and I do notice issues with this, but I feel happy with it as a sketch! #東方Project

(Shinki) This took me a very, very long 8 hours and 105 layers (which is fewer than normal), there are issues but I felt happy enough with it! My first time really painting and trying lineart as well. Honestly want to paint some more (or draw even more Shinki) #東方Project

(Parsee is trying to be very angry) Tried a new construction method and this took 5 hours- pretty happy with it! I normally wouldn't draw Parsee, but some people really like her so I decided to try this out. I think I see the vision now #東方Project

(Jo'on wishes you a Merry Christmas) This was one of my longest-running pieces: it took 7 hours, over 2 weeks. This also ended up my largest file and was lagging my laptop. I enjoyed every bit of the process though! Plus I gained an appreciation for Jo'on #東方Project

(Shinki on her morning run) 4.5 hours, tried a lot with colors and a bit of painting here. Perspective was a pain but I think this went okay! I also finally learned how to use the fill tool properly, cut hours off the process Also Shinki is great #東方Project

(Youmu, a bit self-conscious after Zun's Yuyuko sketch) One of my longer sketches but I really enjoyed this one and learned a lot about how to speed up the process. Youmu is one of my favorite 2hus and I was eager to draw her! #東方Project

(Letty gets a coffee after dealing with some some possibly Cirno-related stress) Tried a lot with this in a short amount of time. There's a lot to improve on and I definitely got lazier later into the drawing, but feeling alright with this result. 東方Project

(Koishi fishing at you) Was inspired by various things to draw a Koishi fishing, so I tried something new with perspective and reapplied what I know about eyes and clothing.

(Alice Margatroid) Took me a long time to draw this one, I took a lot more time to practice beforehand. I tried new stuff here with the shading and the pose, and I've found a style for eyes I like. Alice is peak

(Imminent jumpscare) This one took a while but I'm getting faster. There are some things I'm frustrated with, and side profiles are weird, but I liked this overall

(An interesting choice for your defense attorney) Took me a few days of on/off work but I'm happy with it! Fairly satisfied with the clothes and the very light shading

(Marisa stopping by to say hi) Technically took less time to make this one (8 hours and not like 12) and decided this works as a Halloween post. No shading and other issues, but the prospect of drawing Marisa called me

(Marisa took the super cool mushroom seat, so she's offering you something else comfortable) I definitely need to learn more about shading and clothing physics but I'm quite happy with this
