I think it only crosses a line when they go out of their way to harass the creator or fans of the series. Also from personal experience I’ve had way more unpleasant interactions with Thing #1 type of fan than #2. People who develop parasocial relationships with creators tend to be very… unhinged.

The second one is pretty normal for fans and I don’t know why people treat it like this bizarre, confusing scenario. Sometimes you can enjoy a piece of media and fall out of love with it. Sometimes you dislike a piece of media but like aspects of it. This is completely normal.

I finished annotating (most of) the translation with 8-4's assistance. I skipped a couple unfinished parts, but it's enough for the translator to properly start work on Monday! Yay!

Now that's Winter, I'm thinking about NEWSLETTER. But I haven't written anything for one yet... Right now, my energy is going towards preparing Chapter 5 for localization. The translation process begins next week. We have extracted all the English text and we are now annotating it.
