Seeing a few artists and creators alike saying that they can't focus on creating because of the recent events. And honestly, I get it. It's tough seeing all this happening in the news, even for an optimist like me can feel that. But drawing is one of the few things that's keeping me sane right now.

I am loving all the wonderful Goku and Chi-Chi art at the Goku and Chi-Chi fan event in Japan. I wish something like that could be done in the Western community but is impossible. 🥺😔

I have a poll on my Twitter account for the title of my story where Goku and Chi-Chi are chained together by an artifact in Beerus' home. Goku can't break it, but if Goku and Chi-Chi can't resolve issues they will be chained forever. It's fun writing scenarios on how chaotic this is for GoChi🤭

I used to write fanfic as a teenager but gave up writing when I went to college. 20 years later, I began writing FF again. Enough people encouraged me to write original fic that I began submitting. 3 pen names and 30 books later, I self pub. More productive than I thought! #pretendpanel

Summer break I always read. I can't remember what inspired me to do it, but one day, I wrote a story. I shared with my Mom and she told me I should continue. Since then, I've written original and fanfics from TV and movies.

I think you should get weirder and freakier about their writing next year. Expel the thoughts of "is this too much? too strange? too out there?" fuck it, we ball. Break the ancient seal cast upon ye. Unleash the inner esoteric thing within clawing, begging to wreak creative havoc.

Closing 2025 with clarity and positivity. My writing took a back seat as I focused on other things but the pendulum is swinging back. I am writing again and am educating myself on many things. I needed a break to get things in order. I am striving, and I hope you are, too, to have a good 2026! 😊

As we enter the New Year remember fear of making bad art is holding you back. Fear of people not liking your work is holding you back. Rejection is holding you back You'll make bad art, you'll have people not like your work, and you'll be rejected. Moving past it is half the job of being a creative
