I’m about to find out how much I have improved, or didn’t, since my ICU stay. Wish me luck

I have just been admitted to the ICU. The glass front wall takes getting used to. Nurses keep peeking in on me. I’m still awake because I spent so much time sleeping yesterday. My heart rate is too high and my blood pressure is too low. I’m going to sleep now. Prayers and good vibes appreciated.

There is nothing quite like sleeping in the ER waiting for a room upstairs. My heart decided to throw a ‘cardiac event’ .

Hot enough to need a 'cooling towel' at the park this morning! We got there early so I snuck some swing time before people's kids got up.

Our complex has revamped our indoor pool ( there is also an outdoor pool ). I’m ready for water aerobics. Water walking is much cooler on a hot southern day. My doctor recommends it as PT. The new fitness center is behind those windows.

My doctor wants me to start PT for my neck and continue using Lidocaine on it. I still have to wear the brace to bed. I am to wait for another month to see if my vision clears up. She isn’t too worried about the spinal issue . She said the surgery is way more dangerous. Lab had a bit of trouble.

I was able to take a nice long walk today. I got to wear a necklace rather than the neck brace I had on for two weeks. I'm addicted to ChatGTP 'Lego' figures of me.

My husband and I and I were biking on a trail in Ohio. A squirrel ran in front of me and my shoe kicked it in the ass ! It ran to the side and yelled at me. It is now a joke between us. If he sees a squirrel near me he warns it to run 😂 This shirt is perfect! I'm still in the neck brace for now.

I’m trying to get back to my normal life after my Easter medical emergency. My range of motion is improving. My legs are steadier now. I have an appointment with my new spine specialist. I truly miss my Yoga and exercise routine. Baby steps.

My doctor just called with my Pathology results: ALL CLEAR!!!! He managed to get everything during surgery! No chemo or radiation! I get to remove the bandages tomorrow and get back to living my life. Your prayers worked!

Surgery (Lumpectomy) went well. He removed the mass cleanly. Pathology results should be Friday. If he got everything I won't need chemo or radiation. I was happy to wake up in recovery rather than a hospital room, which would have meant a Mastectomy. Thank you for the prayers and positive thoughts

I learned to do these yesterday. I call them ‘Yoga bracelets’. I miss my Yoga classmates! I can’t return until I get medical clearance. I still practice with online classes.

In my opinion, as well as my husband's, this is my best one yet!
