She's not bothering. When Linkle isn't looking, she sprouts her wings to fly over the boulders, keeping an eye out for anything nasty looking nearby. Then, she's back at Linkle's side, stretching like nothing happened. “Nice moves. You're quick on your feet for a normal person.”

Teto gives a little thumbs up. “I can keep up. Got stamina for days. Just keep on skipping forward. I'll be here when you look back again.”

Linkle seems like she can take care of herself, at least. Maybe not in terms of direction, but, she can sort of relate. It's not as if she was exactly going anywhere else in life right now, literally or figuratively.

“Cool. Can you show me the way now?” She is not asking for herself. She's asking so she can keep an eye on this lost beanard.

“Nope~! Only shadow with me is the one at my feet. At least, last I checked...” She looks over both shoulders briefly. “Yep- still one. Just you and me here.”

“I'm going to take that as a compliment.” She waves with both hands, showing off one of her straps moving on its own, like a tail. “Means I'm doing a good job at hiding it.”

“Look, if you seriously think that, then I won't do anything. Just sing and dance. Hard to mess that up, right?”

“I was genuinely offering help. Dang, I already thought I was bad with vocal intonations outside of music, but not THIS bad.”

Teto scratches her chin, spotting the smokestack briefly before turning her attention back to Linkle and her hopeless sense of direction. “What about that way?” Teto asks, pointing towards the conspicuous mountain on the horizon.
