In India, renewable energy generation is reaching record highs, while both coal and natural gas power output fall at the steepest rates in years. Price pressure is thought to be a large factor, as renewable power becomes consistently cheaper.

This new protected area in Peru was co-created with 16 Indigenous communities, and protects over 1,000 square miles of Amazon rainforest. In addition to connecting habitat corridors it also strengthens Indigenous territorial rights in the area.

After year of tagging and tracking salmon to provide vital data to conservation scientists, high school students at Casa Grande High School have now received permits to shelter juvenile steelhead trout (a local endangered species) from drying rivers until they can be released

The new spatial plan will sustainably manage 100% of Samoa's ocean and cover 30% of it's ocean under marine protection areas. These areas include critical ocean habitat and a migration route for humpback whales.

All the lead pipes in Flint, Michigan have been replaced, save for abandoned houses or those whose owners opted out of the free pipe replacement. This is the work of so many people who spread the word and showed up over and over again to hold Michigan accountable for the replacement project.
