Made this to talk about how I dislike most mega pokemon designs but making it actually made me realize most of them are fine. That being said you could argue that everything below green is bad, or at least that there are more mons below yellow than above it.

Look at the difference in wording between these two cards and you can see a lot of foresight by the developers. Torterra can use memory light to use Grotle's attacks between uses of frenzy plant.

just went on a 10 game win streak using a variation on @bafael.bsky.social's donphan EX deck, making the adjustments with Lucario mentioned at the end of his post about it. this deck outright wins so many early game situations and has decent potential to clutch up late game. been really enjoying it!

This isn't quite pure power creep but damn if it feels close. Machamp has a smidge more hp and dmg and can use Lillie, but donphan is sooo much better on every other metric, especially speed of activation and versatility. Machamp only works late game but donphan is great any time

Back in ultra ball, 15 wins 4 losses, deck pulled a 79% win rate including a 9 win streak that took me through all of great ball 4. I used a deck of my own design starring donphan
