I finally pushed my arcade into my gaming room. In the near future I’ll start some Arcade streams. I put this machine together after already having the x-arcade stick and I have a PC running MAME inside.

For the past week I’ve been trying to beat a Contra 3 challenge on my snes with these rules as my first playthrough. -Hard mode -Start with 3 lives -No farming lives -No abusing weapon change to kill bosses My personal best is the brain after this boss. 🥹

Friday I beat Cuphead base game, Monday I beat the DLC, Tuesday I beat Castlevania Dracula X and today I beat heart of darkness, all first playthroughs!! I’m plowing through games this month 🤩

I beat Pugsley’s scavenger hunt for SNES last night and let me tell you that, while the game has a few issues preventing it from being a good game, it was a very enjoyable experience if you like challenging platformers. I’ll list a few probelms under this post due to word limit. #Retrogaming

I beat Congo’s Caper for the first time today and it was a fun game that took me about 4 hours to beat. I’m sure it would have been faster if I had read the manual from the start 🤣 I learned you can run about 3/4 through the game 🥹

I started collecting pokemon cards and will be working on a national Pokédex binder where I’ll have a card of every pokemon. (1080 total) It seems fun and I have another binder to put all the full art cards because they have beautiful art! Look at the one I got today for example 😻

Just had a great first community night of the year! Lots of friendly people raided in and joined our games. Both my cats even managed to restart my computer twice!! Such a great experience 😹

Using the pokemon TCGP has pushed me to start collecting real #pokemon cards. I decided to collect just holo cards of all types but just for the art and not card prices. I really love how the basic full art pokemon cards look the most. These are the cards I like the most currently.

I beat Glover for N64 last night! The game itself wasn’t too overly complicated. The levels are very short and only the last level felt very trolly for a first playthrough. The bosses can be a bit difficult but can become easy if you farm lives before fighting them. #Retrogaming #N64 #Glover
