Holmes for the Holidays is nearly done, but last night we added Boris Karloff in his appearance as "Mr. Mycroft" in the Elgin Hour's adaptation of The Sting of Death. We also caught a great Sherlock Holmes episode of End of Part One, and even the Our Gang short Young Sherlocks (just for fun).

Loved the Stranger Things finale, loved how it built off of the expanded lore from First Shadow. Quite content.

Time for my year's end progress report. Written - 249,899 words Translated - 10,362 words Converted - 69,546 words Total - 329,807 words I'm a little disappointed with this year's numbers, even if they are just 2,351 less than 2024. Losing a month of writing time to construction had an impact.

Been a bit too busy for much Holmes for the Holidays, but we dove back in with the first two episodes of Sherlock & Daughter. Pretty good so far, David Thewlis makes for a great Holmes. The show's conceit also works well, handicapping the great detective in a realistic (if sinister) fashion.
