Holiday mode is now on!

A year ago I took a leap. I was interviewed to be an assistant head at another school in the trust, so working across two schools. I’m now permanently at my new school and will be deputy in September. And so much more has happened in between but I am still standing

Can anyone recommend/ suggest/ know of any book fair companies other than the obvious? Love that they give us money for more books but I am a bit sick of the regular celebrity ‘authors’ and lack of quality, diversity and inclusion. Thanks #primaryrocks

I ran school for 3 days this week as the head was on residential…I am exhausted but school, children and staff are all still standing so I am taking that as a win! 😂

Looking at developing houses at my new school. The problem is naming these after famous people is daunting as who knows what might come out about someone in a few years time! My era was a minefield! 😬

Tomorrow all teachers and HLTAs are coming to watch me teach a year 4 class showing some TLAC techniques. In staff meeting we will then be talking about these and the impact they have in the classroom. I’m not nervous honest! #primaryrocks
