Also, the IRFU needs to consider a second AIL division in the women’s game. Only having one division means players will be poached from clubs who are trying to improve their status to the likes of the bigger women’s clubs. Let the game develop properly!

Open to correction, but by my read of things 31 out of the 50 AIL clubs have women’s teams. Some of the remaining 19 have functioning underage girls teams which could develop to women’s sides down the line, but it’s not good enough in 2025 that it hasn’t happened already.
