Giving things a bit of an overhaul today. I'm realigning myself with my goals as a creative and small business owner, and feeling good about the future of my mermaid adventures for the first time in a long time.

Trying something new to better keep my tasks on track. As a one-person show, it's a bit of a juggling act to work on multiple projects at the same time with no one to help me schedule things. Hopefully I can find a better rhythm!

I am still in phone backup hell if anyone was curious. Almost done though. I think. Gods I hope I didn't just jinx it.

This has taken the whole day and it still isn't done. Learn from my huge mistake. BACKUP YOUR STUFF OFTEN so you don't end up having to take an entire day dealing with failures and missing files.

I am NEVER letting this happen to my phone again. I CANNOT BELIEVE I am still at it. This needs to become at least a monthly occurrence where I back everything up, especially if I am going to start vlogging again.

MerMay Day 11- Winter!! Winter here in Florida is a bit subjective! 🤣 The day I took these pictures it was around 62° which is perfect for filming in a wig (which is basically a hat AND a scarf) and a cape! It was actually pretty comfortable- and the cloudy sky made it look colder than it was! ❄️

Since I vlog/film on my phone, I have basically filled it up... Now I'm having to backup one folder at a time because the files are HUGE. Don't be me. Backup your stuff more often. Not yearly. Learn from my mistake. T_T

It upsets me to no end when people send me really upset messages after I've requested they remove MY CONTENT off of THEIR CHANNELS because they are about to get a strike and it will impact their livelihood AS IF STEALING MY CONTENT doesn't do THE SAME TO ME.
