Plums & apricots are stewing for jam, while apples & pears silently swell. I picked my salad for lunch, with the scent of basil filling the humid air. Baby birds are leaving their nests on their first flights, landing on my tomato stakes to rest beside me while I weed, I fall in love here everyday.

I’m going to spend some time in my garden, play my guitar & find any & all healthy ways to soothe my soul over the weekend, maybe even knit my swatch a little. I know I sometimes need to find exits out of the rabbit holes, so I can support others, set boundaries, be authentic & still stay human ❤️
