i will never, in my entire life, understand Chikorita slander. Chikorita is a charming encapsulation of the Grass type, unique, has cute colors, the leaf is charming. I just don't know how you could hate a tiny pear dinosaur with a leaf ponytail & big cutesy anime eyes

Pokemon fan complaint: For the love of God, could we get non Gen 1 characters on products? Gen 1 is like 30 years old and anytime there's a new product like the Pokemon fabric at Michael's, it's Gen 1 characters only. Or those Jazwares vinyl displays. Mostly gen 1. I'm just so tired of Gen 1

I know this is an incredibly "I'm 40" post, but the word 'oomf' just never feels like a real word to me. Reading oomf used seriously creates the same feeling in me as reading a nonsense word like Floozle or Schmoobie or Bleepo. Again I know this dates me immediately but I don't care lol

howdy followers. Wanted to update that I'm not giving up on making art. I just have been taking an extended break from it. I'll never stop making illustrations as long as I am physically able to. But I did need some time away, & may need a little further time away still.

real talk: sometimes my imagination surpasses my ability to draw. (that feeling sucks & every visual artist deals w/ it at some point). My only answer is to try to take the pressure off, and just continue to make art.

is there a worse feeling for an artist than wanting to make art, but you're physically just too tired to do it? I'm finally feeling inspired again for the first time in MONTHS but I am just exhausted from my trip..🫠

Not ashamed to admit I cried today after having made it home from my vacation. I don't often have a lot of fun in my life.. My mom said that I need to make more of an effort to do nice things for myself more regularly & to find ways to have more joy in my life, & that is just so true.

Disney World, I'll miss you

It's my last day at Disney with my family. I'm genuinely emotional. This trip is the 1st time I've been genuinely happy w/ no strings attached in... years. I've had a rough go at things the past 13 months & I kind of don't want to go home, even though that's where I belong. 😢

I know it's not the Christmas season, but these fancy ornaments in Disney are so cute

Saw a young couple Disney Bounding as Miss Piggy and Kermit the frog. They had picture perfect outfits, the woman had naturally long blonde hair, pink top and mini skirt, the whole 9 yards, and the guy for Kermit had the perfect green outfit. If that's not couple goals, I don't know what is lol

I'm having a wonderful time in Disney, for real, but as a noise-sensitive introvert, this trip has been at times challenging for me.. again, very happy to be here, but I don't do well around 900 screaming crying children

I may not make an illustration this year for Pokemon Day. I'm going to be travelling (Disney World, my first REAL vacation in like twelve years). I also am hosting an old friend for a bit, & have to completely clean my apartment. Given all that, I just don't think a new illustration is happening
