Pet portrait commission. I love drawing cats. This was a special one because it’s a portrait and memorial portrait.

Today we visited the Font de Gaume cave, the last cave still open to visitors with polychrome paintings. We saw the beautiful kissing reindeer and many bison. The guide noticed my wolf pin and pointed out a harder to spot wolf painting. It’s very calcified, but the face was still clearly visible. 🤩

Some close up shots to this piece. I think I am going to lean into this style going forward. The pieces I make in this style are often my favorites, and my whole art career I really feel like I've never had a defining style. It's more brain-on to work this way but definitely worth the outcome imo
