Taken together, these works argue that BLXCK Uncanny is less an emotion than an aesthetic condition; it invites a way of seeing that insists on the persistence of Black life across time, medium, and myth.

BSAM Amatersam inaugural Festival is lively and lovely so far. We haven’t even started the presentations yet. Very Black and multicultural + on the day of Black Pete, a festival where White Amsterdam dresses in Blackface in the lore that if children are bad Black Pete steals them, and deports them.
