This week marks the birth of the Spanish painter Diego Velazquez whose work I admire. One of his best known paintings is Christo crucifado painted in 1632. I In 2001 after #9/11, I painted a version, thorns replaced by weapons of war, plus a poem- #Art is our reflection of God's creativity & love
