fun fact: the red dead inspiration was mostly me being upset about how much the hunting sucked. they had the amazing snow tech and instead of incorportaing it into the game design they basically put a quest marker on the minimap.

do isometric games adjust character move speed based on the projection angle or is the speed the same? because horizontal movement in screen space should be faster than vertical but it feels wrong.
