Not something I would normally post but in last 24hrs 3 birds & bad story's, The tern on exe Estuary & 3 muppets chasing it in a boat. Baikal teal at abbottsbury when Steve Groves posts do not go beyond the teeth. And you can't tell me no strong light was used in scops owl pics. Sad. #UKBirding.

Walking up to Turf from Powderham this boat came past heading for the LC Tern, we quickly set up scope on tern as sure it would be spooked. And yes they did just that😡 in front of many birders. LCT flew off and boat headed back down past us. Here they are, well ****** done😡😡!

Well there I was pottering about local fields & wood when news came out of tern 1st royal then elegant but now narrowed down to Royal/West African Crested I believe, nice unexpected tern of avents anyhow. Thanks to Derek Carter for use of better pics. #UKBirding. #Devonbirds.

At one stage I had 7 species in this one small puddle & 20 birds !. Time I got scope set up cirl bunting & dunnock just sat up in hedge. Linnet,robin, chaffinch, goldfinch & greenfinch did come down. Much bigger puddles were around. At stantaway farm nr Otterton #UKBirding. #Devonbirds.

Never seen one now seen 3 pallid swift in 2 days ! Norfolk delivers again.One at cromer & other at RSPB Titchwell.Have hurt hip again though so birding limited & slow !. AGP, Black throated diver & YBW also at Titchwell.Red kite everywhere but always distant. #UKBirding. #Norfolkbirds.

Cracking first day Norfolk mainly spent at horsey gap as wife wanted to see the seals.But flooked a pallid swift,Thanks to birder who shouted it out as I was taking pics of seals ! Also saw red throated divers,velvet scoters & field of Pink foot.Also this snow bunting at Bacton. #UKBirding.

On route to Norfolk we called in calshot to see this amazing Boat Tailed Grackle wow what a bird & I nearly ran it over as I pulled up coming from under another car 😯🙄 also saw a leutisic starling and a partridge that flew through boat yard.At Goatee Beach a scarlet ibis at distance. #UKBirding.
