A day late … did kitchen things yesterday.

I had butter chicken for the first time in c. 25 years tonight. It was sodding amazing. 13 is also a fan it seems.

Can’t be arsed tonight. Ordered a curry treat for a little later on 😁

In more positive news. I had an actual factual magazine delivered today. One made of paper and not pdf bits ‘n’ bytes. Tonight I are mostly sniffing Retro Gamer ink. It’s going to be like the olden days and I might even stick the included poster on my wall.

Things are sketchy in this whereabouts tonight. Somebody has come home with a proper strop on.

Did a cooked breakfast for tea as requested by youngest daughter. It was a plan for Saturday past but she had cricket practice. Oh so wrong, but equally right. Dirty dinner.

Went to the office today. The weather has been lovely so made a point of driving there and back on routes that include the seafront. It was so uplifting. I live 1/4 mile from the coast but very rarely see the sodding sea.

I’m cold this evening and can’t get warm. Boosting the heating as I’ve nipples like monkey toes

Lost my iPad to elder daughter today. Welcome cheap android jobby from Argos. So far so good. I appreciate you cheap little thing. And your stylus (although a bit shit) makes me feel fancy.

Trying something new today. I soaked my spuds I. Salty water for a good few hours. Apparently it makes them crispier. Not that I’ve ever had an issue with my spuds of course.

My pie was epic.

Made a decision this week. I’m going to make myself a dropout - I’ll not be completing the final year of my degree. Instead I shall be focusing on other important stuff like playing old computer games and spending money I don’t have on retro stuff.

Younger daughter wanted pie tonight, so pie has been made of the cottage variety.

I did good things in the kitchen tonight. A bodge job chickpea curry turned into an amazing chickpea, potato and spinach curry.
