In contradictory news, I've managed to reinstall #Windows on my home PC. Gods fucking damn it. If only someone else had made #FlightSimulator. When they first made Flight Simulator, #Microsoft was just a software company. We had no way to know! (We did. We've seen it slowly growing for decades.)

Microsoft dominates UK businesses and institutions. Microsoft has the power to control how many employees can do and access what in any given organisation. We made a HUGE mistake allowing software dev companies, like Microsoft et too many al, to seize power as information control syndicates.

I can't tell how infuriating it is trying to reinstall #Windows11 after having installed #Ubuntu #Linux. Like, I'm no Linux enthusiast—just want a working OS. But Ubuntu's install ISO has everything in it that you need to set up your disc, install the OS and download updates via wifi.

Streaming is a really annoying way to have to access media. I mean I can't deny it's convenient, but only until it's stuffed by network conditions or a provider that doesn't give a shit if you get what you're paying for and owns and controls access to all media now and frankly fuck the lot of them.
