Mariners are not listed often prob b/c of positions they need vs the positions of top 50 free agents. However, I think Ms may consider bringing Polanco back. I’d be shocked if they signed Verlander. The fan base would struggle with that one.

Imagine if men had to get a test like mammograms. We’d definitely have technology that didn’t feel like high-priced revisions to torture devices.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

The crowd seems fatigued and the starting pitchers seem fatigued.

In between innings they played Dido’s “Thank You.” Naylor was singing along while taking warm-ups at first. Love him!

FOMO got the best of me. Last minute, last row seats.

My walk didn’t work. This game is a stinker, but I’m not sure it’s so bad that it merits the eulogy these broadcasters are giving it.

These broadcasters are so focused on the missed call on Randy as if it was a momentum killer. They’re not wrong that it was a big miss, but after the Blue Jays tied the game, the same broadcasters were talking about how the Blue Jays had flipped the momentum. The zone has been terrible all game.

I suppose a Vargas outing was inevitable once we saw Logan wasn’t sharp.

And then they take the lead and hope/anxiety creeps back in…

I’m on a walk, listening to the game on my AirPods. Someone looking out their window would see me cackling (Mitch Garver triple) and jumping up and down while clapping (JP RBI).

The Springer strike zone is extra problematic.
