Great to be back out on the Longroyds in Beeston today. We had some nice, long conversations with residents across a couple of streets. While we were already aware of most of the local issues, getting firsthand insights directly from the community is always so helpful.

Great to attend the free Sunday Breakfast at St. Luke's Church today. This runs every second Sunday of the month from 09:30. It was wonderful to see so many Hunslet and Riverside residents, catch up with the organisers, and enjoy a brilliant full English breakfast and coffee.

It was good to join Cllr Peter Carlill today to see one of the new on-demand cycle parking sites at Leeds City Square. More secure storage has been a request from cyclists for some time, so the installation of these first ten secure units will start to fulfil this long-term demand.

It was great to be at Middleton Railway in Hunslet today to celebrate the naming of a diesel locomotive Salamanca in honour of Matthew Murray, as we commemorate the 200th anniversary of his death and the transformative changes his locomotives made.

We had a very productive and pleasant visit to the Longroyds today, speaking with a good number of local residents. We were pleased to find that few issues were raised, and we are already actively monitoring the ones that were mentioned.
