This - Art of the weekend - is for a friend, my gymbro who's moving to France next year for work. I drew his cat Kiki, the serious face is a must.

~ Inner Fight ~ More weekend art between commissions. I took inspiration on the atmosphere from the last chapter of Wolf's Rain, I'll always love that anime, maybe I'll do more related art on a near future. I used custom brushes on SAI similar to gouache + color pencils.

~ Leave it for a moment ~ I had a tranquil Saturday of gym, home stuff, rest and sketching... Yes I just sit down and started to "sketch something", ended up doing it for 6 hours I guess. Originally thinking to do a study for a later painting on paper or something. Hope you like it

~ Took the horse, went riding alone, for awhile with just a few essential things... ~ Sunday and it's raining heavily, gonna post some stuff.

~ In my darkest corner, I also found a luminous place. Here i sit to write, and meditate. I'm getting more confident with the paper, and comfy with this lonely space. The fewer things I have around, the better I can concentrate. You can hear a lot in the silence. ~

~ My bad day is over, so don't look to the past and don't try to go back where you already decided to leave. I usually find an answer playing some music.~

~ I sit to write, but sometimes I don't like many thoughts I see on paper ~ Doodles... Not everything can be so good, there's bad days, sad days, and so on.

I took some photos of a friend doing yoga poses, picked one to use as reference, just added the hand pointing up which wasn't on the original photo. This is my favorite body type I guess, athletic, bit muscular yet delicate lines. I like so much my pencil brush.

Continuing with yesterday's art and lore. He likes music and plays guitar as hobby, it's also a way to escape from a stressful day or a bad mood. When he needs inspiration or peace, just grabs the guitar and plays some music.

Let's call him Doggo Jordan or just Jordan, as it was suggested on my Telegram :3. He's a black german shepherd, and goes to the gym 5 or 6 days a week, never skips leg day (very important)... As a shepherd, has a lot of energy and needs to do excercise to be healthy. Follow his example 👀

Finished Illustration for AriRexouium and Kiteless ✨💛 Such an interesting composition and the perfect opportunity for my custom brushes from SAI

It's possible that I randomly pick a sketch to redraw and test something of my interest. In this case I needed a portrait, and the lucky one was Ivan with his red panda from the ref sheet I posted back on June. This is the result I like for portraits.

I like the custom brush and texture used here, maybe I'll try the same on my next illustrations, the change is subtle but does a bit of difference.
