Compare and contrast. Juvenile Ospreys (L) have a 'scaly' appearance with white edges to their feathers compared to the adult's (R) more uniform colour. The youngsters' eyes are an amber colour, darker than the yellow of the grown ups. #FoulshawOspreys #Birds @cumbriawildlife.bsky.social

Update on Blue 9K4 – the first ever chick from nest two. More than 200 Cumbrian chicks have now been ringed since Ospreys first bred again in 2001 after a gap of over 150 years in England. Nearly 7 weeks old, the latest team member should fledge in the next couple of weeks. #FoulshawOspreys
