It’s time for EVERY American to shed their politics and confront our grim reality. Donald Trump is a mentally unhinged authoritarian. He wants to burn down everything good and decent in our Republic for daring to hold him accountable. He is a threat to America…and the world.

He has threatened to annex Canada & Greenland, conduct strikes in Mexico, Venezuela & now Nigeria. He has orchestrated 50+ extrajudicial killings. No evidence provided for his actions. He is openly enriching himself and his billionaire donors while waging war against the working class.

Zohran Mamdani is reminding us that you can take on the political ruling class, powerful oligarchs and their corporate interests, even the demented dictator in the White House, as long as you understand the golden rule of democracy. True power resides with the people.

The culture wars, the race wars, the gender wars...all smoke screens for the war they don't want you to fight. The class wars.

For millions of Americans, today will bring the chance to be heard. If there's an election where you live, then you get to send a message on the policies and leadership you believe in - and begin changing the trajectory of this country.

I generally refrain from speaking ill of the dead…except for a handful that have yet to occur. I also will not lionize someone simply because they’re not with us anymore. Not everyone deserves grace. That said, the last vote Dick Cheney cast…was for Kamala Harris. I commend him for that much.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance. The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income. They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive. Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

FWIW, social democracies like Norway, Sweden etc have big businesses. They have billionaires. They also have universal healthcare, quality free education & child care, and programs to curb poverty and food insecurity. How? Their billionaires pay taxes and don’t control the government.

In his infinite arrogance the Fuhrer still believes he carries weight in New York, where he was convicted of 34 felonies and held liable for financial fraud and rape. Where he bragged about having the tallest building after 9/11. He might’ve forgotten. His brain is mush. New Yorkers remember.

Trump’s disapproval ratings are at an all time high. He’s polling worse than he was after trying to incite a violent insurrection. People are not caving to his presidency of cruelty, corruption and intimidation. That said, try to avoid any fishing trips today.
