How do you mourn someone you don't know personally but had a huge impact on your life?

The thing (for me) about being BP2 and medicated is that it's getting harder and harder for me to tell the difference between a manic episode and a depressive one. For the last couple of days, I've had this sadness, and I haven't eaten much. So I thought, here we go, oncoming depressive episode.

Never thought I'd have to explain to my 65 year old mother about the SSD shortage. The repair cost was too high and at that point might as well just get her a new tablet.

I've been taking meds for my bipolar 2 for the past year or so. I've forgotten taking them every now and then but not like yesterday. Yesterday, I didn't take any meds at all because I was too distracted playing Witcher 3. Today I had a panic attack for the first time in around a year.

Looking at a list of design-related companies for work and saw one called Jati Kebon from Belgium. Got suspicious, looked at their website. Yup, their name was inspired by the durable teak (jati) wood grown in Indonesia. And kebon is Indonesian for garden.

Losing my father was hard but losing him thinking I never made a proper connection with him was even harder. Knowing that I did (and in some ways still do) have a connection with him made it easier.
