Really hoping it doesn't freeze too much overnight for my marathon walk in the morning. Icy and windy is the worst case scenario.🤞

have put in 62km of rough winter walking over the last week in anticipation for not bailing halfway thru this Sunday's marathon solstice walk. feet blistered and legs sore but weather is looking do-able.

Made it 14k into my 22k walk today listening to just my own thoughts before I had to put on a podcast and go into no-think cruise control.

i am afraid I will always feel new here.

Sometimes you walk into your favourite bar after a long shift to say hi to friends and the HR person who fired you from your last job for speaking up about a drunk driving incident that should have ended the entire business is there and you just go home and consider moving away to the moon. 🤞🌚 🤏

I (think) I saw a UFO as a kid and I finally got to speak about it at length on the back half of Episode 353 of ufochroniclespodcast.com , which came out yesterday. UC is a fun podcast that often reminds me of old Open Lines Coast to Coast with Art Bell segments.

Went for a midnight run because I was restless and I came across 4 or 5 skunks throughout the neighborhood. The only witnesses to my fitness-es and I'm trying to dodge them..

Interesting likely to just me, after using Last.fm to scrobble (track) my listening habits over the past 20 years, the years I was working in community radio, initially with TRP then CJRU (now CJMT) had the least scrobbles (2014-2019). I was mega overstretched and rarely listened to anything alone.

I know there's already a flag for the City Of Guelph but it should be redesigned more accurately to feature a short man driving a massive truck.

I don't and have never cared about American Football but I rented this doc from Suspect (rip) in the early 2000s and loved it and have been trying to hunt it down for years. Finally bit the bullet and grabbed the one copy on thrift books from a library in Alabama.

It's been 4 or 5 times now I've been out walking or running in my neighborhood here in Guelph and I've found and returned a dog. Yesterday I moved a dog off of Imperial Rd. The owner had no idea their beautiful lab was just standing in traffic.
