Christmas day. Possibly the only day of the year when it's totally fine to indulge in whatever treat you fancy. So, it's 11am and I'm having a cheeky glass of wine.

And, they're done! SO MANY SWEETS!

And with that, all treats are DONE! All I have to do now is wrap the chocolate truffles and pack gift bags and boxes. #christmasbaking

I think I have made too many sweets. Coated the cassis truffles but I have to stop because I have run out of pans and fridge space. 🫠 Almost there..

So, after work, I finished rolling the cassis and the butterscotch truffles. Tomorrow they will get coated in chocolate and then I just have to wrap and then it's just figuring out how many packs I need to make! 😵‍💫

White chocolate snowball update 2: kinda fixed, thanks to a little dip in more chocolate. Not perfect, but not bad for a first try. Life lesson: many things can be fixed by adding chocolate. Just don't let the chocolate set on a wire rack. Next up: LET'S MAKE SOME ACTUAL COOKIES! #christmasbaking

Chocolate snowball update: the white chocolate coating did set (yay!) BUT they stuck to the wire rack. So now I need to buy more white chocolate and re-dip the damaged side. Lesson learned: line everything with baking paper! #bakingfail

The Christmas cookie making marathon has begun! Working with melted white chocolate is something new this year. We'll see if it turns out.
