Just wrote a 600 line optimised htaccess file to cover a partial migration using Notepad++. Fully working as intended first try. Even remember to QSA everything. Now to not sleep for 2 nights while I wait for the site to launch and ponder whether it would have been more efficient to use Cloudflare.
