“. .you said you are new to the region, yes?” The moth shoots a soft smile as she asks, not even waiting for a response “I’m sure you will find some things of interest here, there are ruins, creatures made of darkness, and different species that have made themselves home here”

“It doesn’t much matter at this point, it’s no more than a silly worry, I am here now and that’s what matters.” She says, scratching her head “It doesn’t much matter if I am remembered or not, it’s not like I’m gonna die, I’ve been alive far longer than the first people that settled here.”

She nods, surprised it took that long- “Yes. I am the one who gifted light to the other Goddesses. .” She sighs, looking down at her feet “It appears even they have forgotten me. .as has everyone else.”

“As is to you.” She appeared to have been downtrodden by her mentioning that not a soul remembers her for gifting the world with light, and so everyone wasn’t trapped in darkness. . “I’m not from the region, if you were wondering.”

The moth is quickly overwhelmed by the questions, soon simply taking a deep breath, and recollecting her thoughts “My name is Rai, I am the Deity that blessed light upon the land. . .nobody seems to remember that I did so. .” She frowns, her lantern light dims. .

“Uhm. .” The moth looks confused at such a comment, she doesn’t know what to say! “I. .thank you?” The thank you had nothing but questions behind it, had NO idea how to respond-

“!!” They hear the thud and look over to see the fallen scientist, and she rushes over after a second, thinking she startled them “Sorry about that. .I didn’t mean to scare you. .” The moth begins to help them up with those four gentle hands. .

The moth was humanoid shaped, with the only major difference being the extra 2 arms, the wings, antenna, and fluff, she appeared to have the exact anatomy of a hylian! She just keeps her silent pace, lantern swaying gently back and forth

It was the moth lady, taking one of her usual nighttime walks. She liked to walk with a lantern to keep herself visible among all the darkness. She hasn’t noticed the other, all things considered she’s half asleep

“Blind people can be some of the brightest people, even without vision they can see how valuable the little things in life are.” The moth explains, a sigh in her tone “People that can see can be some of the most greedy people. .only caring about themselves and nobody else. .”

“I am the one who created the very essence of light, it was my gift so no soul had to be blind.” She sighs, looking to the floor now. Seems that’s why the light sources are fluctuating so much, it was based on her mood “It seems the ones that are medically blind aren’t even as blind as others. .”

“Oh, I uhm. .suppose I forget to explain who I am.” She sighs slightly, looking away. .the light dims substantially “I am the one who created light. . .however everyone seemed to forget that I even existed, and other deities and higher powers have taken claim what I have gifted to them. .”

“Yeah, I do too, once I found a bird was living in my hair. . I guess that’s what happens when you fall asleep for seven months. .” The moth lets out a soft chuckle, she liked hibernating when it got colder. .

“I understand completely. One’s mind can be their own critic. .perhaps this can aid you a bit. .” She spreads one of her wings out cupping her hand and scraping up a handful of dust, then she begins to shape it in her hands, eventually the gaps in her fingers glow, and a small little figurine-

“You got a leaf in your hair.” Casually plucking out said leaf with one of her other free hands and stepping back The moth does not appear to have any signs of affection or ‘lust’, as far as she remembers they just met. . That doesn’t dictate the future however, they do seem like a cute pair!

“Look at me, I’m no different.” She puffs up her fuzz to show off her f l o o f, before looking back at Skyla, all floofed up. “And there’s nothing wrong with tinkering, after all, some of the most important advancements were discovered by people just tinkering”

She’s lazily swinging her feet on a park branch, sipping on a smoothie of some sorts Today is her weekly relaxation day, where she focuses on herself

“Ever hear the phrase the phrase, ‘The pen is mightier than the sword?’” She continues to smile, things becoming a bit brighter around her “It doesn’t matter what type of thing you create, if it’s for combat or for enjoyment. .all that matters is YOU made it, not everything has to be a weapon-

“Who says you need to go down swinging if you already planned for the fall?” She says with a smile, handing her one of her tools “The more you create, the more you do, the more you prove who you are, not what others think you are.” Light sources in the room shine brighter than they normally do. .

“Ah . . .Doubt. .” She says to herself, looking around at the tools, the gadgets, all of it “You know, there’s one nice thing about doubt.” She says with a soft smile, placing a hand on Skyla’s shoulder “Proving people wrong, And you appear well equipped to do that with all these creations. .”

Her eyes are filled with a docile, gentle gaze, she sits down next (or around) to sit close “I know the look of someone with a bit of extra ‘weight’ when I see it. If it’s anything personal I promise no other soul hears.”

The other moth was still around, and when she noticed her tenseness, she gains a slight frown, walking up to her with her hands clasped together and hanging in front of her “Is everything alright? . .you appear rather tense. .” Rai says, genuine concern echoing from her tongue

“I am Rai, nobody really remembers me but. . .i am the reason you are able to see.” She says, a somber look on her face “So far I haven’t seen a single piece of ancient text, or even regular text mentioning my existence. .” Light around her dims slightly, making everything darker. .

She’s been reading up on books to see if anyone even knows about her, but the only three that are popping up are these goddesses named Din, Farore and Nayru She’s never heard of them before. .

“Clearly they show no self regard for others. .especially for the ones it makes uncomfortable.” She says with a sigh, seeing others exposed in such ways makes her very on edge, not even she is sure why, it always made her heart rate pick up and her brain get stressed

She takes a sip, her antennae twitching from the taste, she seems to like it! “Yeah. .it’s pretty good. And I’m not much of a tea person myself, ehe.” The moth smiles gently, before tilting her head a little “I’m Rai, I have a strange feeling that we’ve met before. .but I cannot recall it. .”
