rick veitch really doesn’t get enough work for his superhero deconstruction comics imo he was doing it before the dark knight returns and his book Maximortal was very impactful to me when I first read it it can be a little excessively dark and on the nose but I still think his work is prescient

a tactic I’ve been using to cut down on the little animated flourish type things I add to my boards lately is only adding new panels when I’m going to completely redraw something unfortunately sometimes instead of making me add fewer panels it makes me add way too many keyframes

I absolutely love when people who follow me have my work as profile pictures like huh… I think I’ve seen that before…
