This weekend I'm translating a short book on the forced sterilisation of Greenlandic women in the 60s and 70s. So far, an hour and a half in, I've picked up two major typos (left/right inversion, repeated captions) that stop the text making sense. You don't get that with AI.

It might not look like it, but translation is often a safety-critical industry. Problem is, you can't tell where the danger is unless you're an expert, and AI is stripping expertise out at a rate of knots.
