A lot of the women I've photographed on Mipixx have not been models, but "women next door" who decided to try a shoot out of curiosity. I love the sincerity of their poses and the intimacy of these shoots.

I tend not to do so many colour top-shelf style images as some nude photographers. I'm very taken by the use of natural light and shadow. There are thousands who are better at it than I am, but I do enjoy making the light work harder. But I like a well-lit colour shot too in the mix.

I've always been rather fond of this set with Donna Rhian as she is now named (Rhianna Grey when I worked with her a few years back). Not nude, but I think its sensuous.

This photo was banned by Instagram and as a result, they closed my account, saying I was breaching the rules on sexual solicitation and nudity. If you post art or photography that includes nudity on there, one day they will come for you too.

Another great erotic shot that has nice use of shadow. I'd probably have lit this more discreetly but its a good shot and pose too.

I have now been deleted by Instagram for the FOURTH time, having lost 8k in followers. I am not starting a 5th account. At no stage has IG ever told me why I am in breach (and I am positive I am not), so hitting "appeal" is pointless because you cannot address anything specific. No more IG for me.

I find it difficult to decide which three new galleries to add to my website at the weekend. I have enough photos to keep my website going for around five years. I like to mix in some recent photos with some archive shots. I also do some couples work, which is rarer but I get discovered and asked.

Sophy looks like she might be popular, especially photographed with this quality!

Instagram is protecting its community from me by stopping me liking people's photos or following them. It's important to protect people from this kind of harassment. Nobody needs their photos liked or being followed. Its creepy and intimidating. I hate it when people like my photos or follow me.

There's going to be a lot of incredible work coming on the gentleman's new Bluesky account so do look in and give him a follow!

I have no doubt I would be banned for a fourth time if I posted this on Instagram. They hate art there, so photography is their first target in making sure we don't pollute their guns and misogynistic agenda.

In 2013 I took the first shot that turned me onto using shadows for my photography. It took a few more years before I did a lot of it.

How good is this?

On my Instagram account (www.instagram.com/mipixx_nude/) I post these really safe images. But you are never safe there. *So* many artists and models keep telling me how it is taking their posts down and removing their accounts. The left image is blurred but has a nipple. Right image for Blueskyers.
