Finished up my six enlightened. Because what’s better than six whiffy cav? Twelve! It’s literally twice as good #maths

6 discs done. I have now painted 21 discs for enlightened and/ or skyfires, which has certainly been an experience. Glad I spent so long painting the underside of the discs 🙃

Tzeentch vs slyvaneth yesterday. Ended 52-50 to tzeentch. Lord of change got very lucky at one point surviving on a wound due to a misplay by me. Drycha was a real problem but killing her off meant I could scrap the win at the end.

10 Pestigor done, all 20 finished. Great models. Now for more tzeentch.

Been practicing with tzeentch again, working on demons. There’s some spice in there for sure, and if we have any obscuring changes in the ghb that could be interesting. Played against gargants last night 68-68 in the end. A draw. Very silly game with a lot of clutch moments on both sides.

10 pestigor done. Really pleased with how these came out. Really cool models. Now another 10 to do!

Finished painting a second changecaster, but this one has a moon face and is therefore better. Really pleased with how he came out. 🌙

Good post day. New sticks arrived from @propaintedstudios.bsky.social along with some new tzeentch tokens. Look great, I’ve already got a set of these but had to get a set with the new colours.

Took a little longer than I’d like to finish but my lad on a chariot is done. I’ve actually only got two models in the tzeentch range left to paint. Happy with how this came out but glad it’s done.

I’ve got my ticket to this, but don’t let that put you off! Excited for my first Feud!

We were lucky enough to play our friends in the Netherlands. Great bunch of guys, and this time I was sober as Lex gave me a battering ❤️

Brothers War was an amazing weekend. Was amazing seeing our friends from all over the world and loved play Lex and Henri round three ❤️ The team smashed it and somehow we snuck to 6th place which in such a stacked field is an incredible result. Well done to the England boys taking the win ❤️

Jade obelisks all done for Brothers war next weekend. Spent most of the time on the token, because birbs are best. Built them without bows ages ago so strapped some of the skyfire quivers to the back of some of them because I’m a “hobby savant”.

Great game against Jon’s Hellsmiths today. A very silly game evening in a 2 point win to Tzeentch. Got run and charge on the enlightened turn 1, but failed a 6 inch charge with a fate point and a reroll. Could have killed a lot of guns and cows. The same happened to Jon later in the game!

Anyone coming to Brothers War able to lend me a Bloodthirster of Unfettered fury (or two?) Don’t want to buy two more with the potential nerf hanging over it with a new battlescroll Couple of pints for you if you can 😅

This weekend six of us traveled up to the TSN for my birthday and had a brilliant time. The venue is fantastic, spacious, great tables and immaculate vibes. @sixdiceskills.bsky.social was a fantastic host, we all ate dinner together, it’s what events are all about. Well all be back ❤️

Been at Warhammer world. Reckon I’ve got more bloodletters than this.

I am now off work for 10 days for a much needed holiday for my birthday. Tomorrow me and a bunch of club mates drive to Nottingham for Warhammer world and a (close to) sold out event at the TSN. The following week me, my partner and the hound go away to a cabin by the sea for a few days. Hyped.

Played FEC dragons on lifecycle last night. 67-41 to the dragons. Wanted to play against a tough match up on a difficult map, which is certainly what it felt like. A few dice things didn’t go my way (no shield of fate due to two miscasts 🙃) but I’d play it differently next time.

Maddie is not wholly on the obscuring terrain and is therefore visible.

Aaaaaand done. 60 tzaangor ready for the TSN next weekend.

Played three games with tzeentch since Sunday. Honing the list and tactics. A narrow loss against Battletome Eltharion, a bigger loss against 20 BKs and a win against SCE. 60 goats and SoG Ogroids is very fun and very good. Feel like I’ve got a grip on the army ahead of a GT in a few weeks.

Been on a course so haven’t got much painting done. But WIP for my second Ogroid. Decided to paint the skin red to help differentiate between the two on the table. Hopefully can make more progress later in the week.

Boshed out the new Fatermaster model. A great new sculpt with some pretty neat rules.

Finished up my shards today. Tip for anyone painting them, do the splitting one in sub assemblies!

Tried explaining the new Tzeentch rules to her. Not a clue. Taking her to day 2 of an agility competition today, she’ll mostly run around and be naughty but she’ll enjoy herself and that’s the main thing ❤️

First game with tzeentch. Many units were swipped, many were swapped 67-47 to the baddie dinosaurs. A couple of prios going my way would have helped. Lots of fast hitty stuff feels like it’ll be a problem. Slowly getting my head around the rules, super fun army. Another game this evening!

New tzeentch book looks super fun. Got some cool lists im going to get on the table next week. For now, here’s 10 rotswords.

What a weekend at Brotherhood with the Team LIT family. Over the moon with 6th especially given our “interesting” approach to pairings. Everyone in the team absolutely smashed it, thanks to Dan and Mo for running an incredible event and the Team LIT guys for being the best ❤️🔥❤️

There are bigger things to moan about on the internet than plastic toy soldiers. That said, here we are. Why haven’t GW post that BANGER stream given us any information on any of the models they’ve shown? A real opportunity to build some hype.

Finished up my sloven knights last night. Went quite hard on the weathered rusty armour. Maybe too hard. Next up, some Rotswords.

I’ve been using these for ages now. The magnetic extender jobby (official name) is so useful for measuring auras especially. Need to get some with the new designs!

Played Grasp of whatever it’s called against Sharks. 66-59 to the forces of good (Belakor). Hard to stop scouting against those slippery boys. Looking forward to playing Nurgle post Brotherhood weekend.

Wanted a nurgle incarnate so picked up this swampy boi from Etsy. Bit small but will do the job!

As is tradition celebrating “shaman Sunday” in my house today.

Played against Slyvaneth in the week ending 67-65 in favour of the trees. My opponent needed 20 pts to win if I took the double. Which involved him taking the middle obj. I put Belakor and 20 letters on it with +5 control, but drycha decided to go crazy we lose by 2 pts!

Finished up my Rotigus. Super pleased with how this came out. Impossible (for me) to photograph though.
