This time of year, it's a Bulge scenario, so we started J142 Penny Packets. Quite a meaty scenario. As the American defender, I've had to make some tough decisions, some of which are hopefully correct. And here come some more German reinforcements! Yikes! @multimanpublishing.bsky.social

I got extremely busy earlier this year, but I'm back playing ASL. Just finished a great Ponyri scenario - SaP3 For The Fatherland. A wall of tough terrain and a stout fortification made the German advance slow, but they eventually broke the back of the Russians. @multimanpublishing.bsky.social

We finished our long-running game of OS2 The Wolf's Howl last night. This was a larger scenario from Bounding Fire's Objective Schmidt, recreating battles in the Hurtgen Forest in November 1944. Both sides had OBA, and the Germans learned to respect the American artillery.

Today’s scenario looks like a fun early war matchup.

Fierce battle for the village during turn 4 of 233 Failure To Communicate. Stout French defenders have been slowing the German advance but they won't be able to hold out much longer.

I printed a tray to hold my BattleSchool ASL dice in an empty cigar box.

Great game today playing this fun scenario. I felt sorry for my opponent, who kept breaking all his weapons.

Finally got a chance to play an Arnhem scenario which, surprisingly, had a hill. Even with flamethrower tanks, it was a tough challenge for the Germans, but nevertheless a fun game.

Continuing our long-running play of OS2. Germans are losing a lot of armor but are pushing hard into the village - just in time for ferocious OBA to start finding them.

To store my ASL dice, I designed and printed the grey trays, which will fit in an extra Raaco box like the A75 and A78 trays.

Played a great late-war scenario today. Who doesn't enjoy tanks with flamethrowers? Well, my opponent didn't enjoy them when they were aimed at him.

Had a great visit to The Imperial War Museum today.

Another great museum day today, this time at the Churchill War Rooms.

Had an awesome visit to The Tank Museum in Bovington today. It was great to see the tanks in person, and the museum has done a fantastic job with the displays.
