GeoGebra is part of the workflow

the app is going well

today i discover the java.sql "ResultSet.wasNull()" API, which tells you whether the last thing you got from the ResultSet is null. Fun pattern where java hands you a landmine and then a tool to defuse it

it's really hard for me to make a good user interface because i have zero sense of consistency. the struggle is between having zero styling but then it's ugly or adding styling in a hundred different way which is interesting for me but then the app looks like this:

I'm usually a lurker on these kind of platforms, only writing a few posts people would qualify as life updates. But 2025 is my year of exploring so I'm going to post more ! This account will talk about technology & my personal project: a memories app I'm building for me, friends & family.
