Far too many see other humans as "lesser" than themselves. Just because it is a law does not make it ethical or not bigoted and denying other humans rights, dignity, and basic respect is what holds humanity back most.

Consent is important and when a theist does not respect consent just know that they also believe they can be "forgiven" for any grievances against consent...
